APRS Digi iGate - M0VPN-1


Feb23 - M0VPN-1 now posts live RX updates.


Jul22 - M0VPN-1 has returned to service due to limited local igates. Now running on a dedicated J-Pole antenna at the end of the garden. Mildly deaf but reliably RX'ing M0RHS's digi in Milton Abbas.

APRS iGate 2022



Apr22 - The iGate has been powered down due to the cost of the watts and number of other stations gating packets locally. A new, low energy, M0VPN-1 is currently on the bench.

APRS iGate "M0VPN-1" was built at the end of 2020. The iGate runs a Tait T2000 VHF radio, DIY audio interface board, eBay USB Sound Card and Raspberry Pi / Direwolf

The radio is programmed for 144.8Mhz on every channel. Low power 1-3 and high 4. TX is possible but isn't currently enabled.
